Whether it’s your coworker, your friends, or your family in different time zones, tracking everything can work hard. Windows allows you to add multiple time zones to the taskbar, making it easier.
This is more convenient than searching the web for “time in the city”. This may be more accurate than trying to remember the time zone yourself. For example, suppose you have coworkers in Arizona who don’t mind most daylight saving time. How many hours does Arizona spend in your current time zone or beyond?
To find these settings, right-click the clock on Windows 10’s taskbar and select “Adjust date/time.” You can also head to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time.
Scroll down and click “Add clocks for different time zones” under Related Settings.
To add another one, select the “Show this daughter” checkbox, select a time zone, and enter a display name.
This name will be displayed in the tooltips that appear when you hover over the taskbar on the taskbar and appear in a pop-up panel that you click at that time. You can write anything you want. For example, you can enter a time zone name or a city name. You can also name the people you know or the team you work with in that time zone.
You can add two additional time zones here; that’s all. When finished, click OK.
You can move the mouse pointer over the taskbar and even on the taskbar, without having to click any of the blocks of your time zone. You will see the time in those other areas.
